{Antique Cars}

You will want to be there. Can’t wait until June to see amazing automobiles at the Klingberg Motorcar Festival? Cars & Coffee gatherings in the spring and fall provide a Vintage Motorcar Festival experience focused on meeting friends with a shared interest in automobiles. You never know what cars you might see, so whether you are a collector or a spectator, come bring your antique/classic or your everyday car and grab a complimentary coffee and donut provided by our friends at Hagerty. All are welcome! Enjoy the view from our hilltop from April’s budding leaves to October’s bright foliage, talk cars, tell stories, and visit our students’ Auto Restoration Garage. Our expanded hilltop parking lot means more space for Cars & Coffee in 2017, and new features are in the works. We at Klingberg Family Centers enjoy the opportunity we have at Cars & Coffee to share who we are and our priority of restoring families for kids. The Klingberg History Museum, where our 114 years of serving children is beautifully documented through photographs and historical archives, is available during this time. Our Auto Restoration Program is open at every Cars & Coffee, and John Jarush, Auto Restoration Facilitator, is available to talk about the program and show the current projects. The Auto Restoration Program provides special-needs students at Klingberg’s Raymond Hill School with the opportunity to learn the art of auto restoration and small-engine repair, giving them real-world job skills and experience.

All Cars & Coffee gatherings are held at 370 Linwood Street, New Britain, CT, 8:00 – 10:00 AM. No charge

This is primarily an outdoor event. Golf cart taxies will be available. Handicapped parking available. Certain areas of our festival are not accessible for persons with physical limitations.

Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private, nonprofit multi-service agency providing help to thousands of persons across Connecticut each year. Our mission is to extend hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, severe family problems and mental health issues. Through an array of group care, special education, foster care and community programs, children and parents are given the encouragement and skills they need to function more effectively at home, in school and in their community. Our main campus is located in New Britain, Connecticut. We also offer a wide range of community services from our office in Hartford.
