Children's Tent

We pride ourselves in being a family oriented festival and so we have many activities geared not only for the kids but for the entire family.  Irish culture and just plain fun abounds for the family in storytelling, dance, plays and music.  Magic shows and dancing have been known to astound even the moms and dads. There are of course the rides and many unique crafts for the children to create.  Safety presentations often provide pertinent information for parents and kids alike. Check out the Children’s Tent schedule for a great day.

This is an outdoor event. Handicapped parking passes available. Handicapped patrons may be dropped off at the main gate before the car is parked in the designated Handicapped Parking Lot.

In the twenty-six years of our Festival, we have seen the realization of our dream with the establishment of a beautiful permanent home.  The Gaelic American Club is thriving with over five thousand members and a beautiful new addition to accommodate all our activities.  FEILE is continually promoting Irish culture with ever-widening charitable, educational, scholarship and literary pursuits.  We enthusiastically look forward to the future and, in particular, we look forward to greeting you at the Festival over Fathers' Day Weekend and hope to see you for many years to come!

The Fairfield County Irish Festival is held on Fairfield University’s campus. Shuttle Busses run to parking available at Ludlowe High School, the Fairfield Train Station and Tomlinson Middle School. Only cars with a Festival Pass or a Handicpped Pass will be allowed on campus. Handicapped patrons may be dropped off at the main gate before the car is parked in the designated Handicapped Parking Lot.
