Norwalk Street Festival - Main and Wall Streets - Saturday June 7, 2008

Participants: Over 80 Norwalk area merchants, businesses and non-profits will be exhibiting their goods and services during a day long festival celebrating the past, present and future of the historic downtown Wall Street community.

Activities: A fun filled day with music, food and family-friendly activities.  A stilt walker, a magician, balloon twister, a puppet show, face painting, tattoos for kids, ballet children’s fashion show and plant potting are just a few activities to keep the kids busy!

 Shakespeare on the Sound will be performing excerpts of its classic productions; The Norwalk Symphony will be offering an instrument “petting zoo; fashion shows throughout the day; and the Norwalk River Rowing Club will be offering 30-minute rows to the public.  Other area businesses will offer demonstrations including ballroom dancing, karate, floral arranging and dog training.  Food vendors will include award winning Chocopologie and local favorites B.J. Ryan’s, Bella Luna and La Paella.  Live music performances by PJ Pacifico, Smackin Abner, Silver Streaks, Jazz by the Jim Clark Group, and Bad Reps, a band led by state representative Chris Petrone.
