The Haddam Shad Museum Open Sundays April 8, 2018 to Mid June
{Haddam Shad Museum}
The Haddam Shad Museum is a small, privately operated museum dedicated to preserving the history of shad fishing in Connecticut. It is open every year during shad season, Mid-April to Mid-June, on Sundays only, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free. Let the curator, Dr. Joseph Zaientz (rhymes with science), talk you through a trip down the Connecticut River in a Brockway Scow and learn about shad fishing and fishermen. The Museum will open this year on Sunday April 8, 2018. Adults and children are all welcome!
