Know Your Legislator

Your state legislators were once your age and went to school, just like you.

ConneCT Kids
has interviewed some of them, and they have agreed to share their childhood pictures and memories with you. Some day you may want to enter politics and serve the people of Connecticut too.

Select a legislator's name below to learn about him or her.

Senator Eric Coleman of Bloomfield -- He also represents parts of Hartford and Windsor.

Senator Edward Meyer of Guilford -- He also represents Branford, Durham, Killingworth, Madison, and North Branford.

Senator Edith Prague of Columbia -- She also represents Andover, Bozrah, Franklin, Hebron, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Montville, Norwich, and Sprague

Senator Andrew Roraback of Goshen -- He also represents Brookfield, Canaan, Cornwall, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, New Milford, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon, Torrington, Warren, Washington, and Winsted.

Senator Mary Ann Handley of Manchester -- She also represents Bolton, Glastonbury, and Marlborough.

Are you a teacher who'd like to see your students helping in the collection of these legislator biographies? Are you a legislator interested in participating? Contact Kevin Flood of the Connecticut Commission on Children (860.240.0078) for assistance.
